You deserve peace of mind & options…
You are curious about Thyroid RFA treatment options?
There are better options for thyroid than invasive surgery or having to take lifelong medications to treat your thyroid disease.
We have built this site specifically for you so that you can get educated on everything Thyroid RFA-related.
Why are people so eager to choose Thyroid RFA over surgery?
Thyroid Radiofrequency Ablation can save your thyroid and change your life. People are choosing this more minimally invasive alternative because there is less scarring, shorter recovery time, and reduced complications.
What are thyroid nodules?
A thyroid nodule is an abnormal growth of cells that occurs within the normal tissue. This abnormal growth forms a small lump in the thyroid gland. Nodules can be filled with fluid and/or blood or they can be solid. Sometimes, the nodules grow large enough to cause uncomfortable symptoms, such as difficulty swallowing and/or breathing.
The good news: there are options.

What is Thyroid RFA?
Thyroid Radiofrequency Ablation, or Thyroid RFA, is a minimally invasive medical procedure that treats thyroid nodules. A non-surgical option that can reduce the size of the tumor, nodules, or other growths within the thyroid. The Thyroid Radiofrequency Ablation procedure itself involves inserting a needle-like probe into the body. Then, radiofrequency waves are sent out from the probe to the nodule and surrounding tissue, using thermal heat to burn the nearby cells causing them to die. Once these cells expire, your body removes them creating an internal reaction that 99% of the time shrinks that nodule and restores its proper function.

If you are looking for helpful information about Thyroid Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) and Percutaneous Ethanol Ablation (PEI) for the treatment of benign thyroid nodules, you have come to the right place. Because these procedures are not widely known about and patient testimonials are extremely rare, I have made it my mission to change that and spread the word. RFA has made a tremendous difference in my life (radically improved my symptoms and I got to keep my thyroid!). But getting to the point of actually having the procedure wasn’t easy. There was no set “path” to treatment and I had to find my own way.
